Extra Battery Added
Question for all you running with a sidecar. How many have added a battery in their hack? I just added a red top optima battery I got for dirt cheap price in the trunk of the Champion Escort, it is wired into the battery of the bike and also added a ac converter to run various items in the hack. An added bonus is the weight of the battery, now I don‘t need as much or any ballast in the hack. Just wanted to see how many are doing this setup?

If I had anything other than lights running off of my battery I would think about it. My lights don't draw enough current for me to worry about it right now. Good idea if you have lots of accessories though.

Interesting. Never thought of it, or saw the need.
The hack I picked up for my brother did have something useful though. I has a gas tank with an electric pump and hose. Now that could be very useful.
