Any advice
I have a 2017 XG750 street, it starts and runs fine, in fact really impressed with this bike being my first Harley, however, I noticed recently that when I turn the ignition on the speedo does not swing all the way over and back before starting (I have seen it do this on how to videos but never noticed it on my bike until recently).
Is this normal or is there a problem?
I only ask because it is coming up to the end of its warranty and didn't want to be stuck with an expensive fix if there is a problem.

I don't know the answer, but I would take it to the dealer before the warranty expires. This way, even if they don't or can't fix it you have a record of the complaint for the future.
