You have modifications like adjustable push rods?
I doubt your hearing seat face.
Now if valve is leaking bad enough, especially intake, will create a problem in the air and fuel intake.
Do an old fashion warm compression test, with throttle blocked wide open. If it's off, do a leak down test. You can here it if seats are bad in intake or exhaust pipe.
Sounds like whoever told you that was looking for his next boat payment or he's just a part changer and not experienced with overhauls.
Most are not since that deep, most replace engines rebuild by shops that do that.

yes i did adjust valves, but the noise still does
i think the prob is in tne air and fuel intake
il do a leak down test and c what it gives, i need a mechanic to do that
one that may give us a way is that in 2020 i modified an exhaust, take out the baffler, maybe that leads to that problem.
How do you adjust valves on a harley? I did help buddy do my springs with a generic clampp for atv and motorcycles of amazon. With a factory manual you probably could if you had it. It is one of the things, I am nervous about, but have watched. Read the manual, and decide if you want to try
