STUPID SONG, I guess you have the RIGHT to say that. Thanks to us who have served, and know just how tough times can be keeping freedom free. Missed any Thanksgivings or Christmases with your loved ones lately, or the birth of a child or the lose of a child (ask a soldier).

To date I have missed my daughters birth, 4 out of 5 anniversaries, 4 Thanksgivings, 3 Christmases, My grandfathers funeral. In November I will be deploying for ANOTHER year in Iraq there for missing another years worth of birthdays, anniversaries etc..... I would not have a problem with this song if maybe it came out before 911. Or if these songwriters didnt make a fortune from the blood, sweat and sacrifice of those of us who have chose to endure the hardships of military life, like you and I. Especialy at times like these. I have serious issues with this outbreak of psuedo patriotism since 911. Where were all the flag wavers at on Sept 10th? I didnt mean to ruffle any feathers here. I just thought Id share this video I found.

Hey defender Im only about an hour away from ya. I posted a link to a small rally up here by Ft Hood, if you'd care to go. There will be a bunch joes there former and current, you may even run into someone you know. The Army is a small world after all.
