I have the 22XE... LOVE it...
rumble....snap acceleration
I have around 18K on this bike since the install and I still love it. I was worried about low-speed maneuvering at first because my buddy did a S&S 475 and that power kicks in around 2K+ which makes slow speed a bit harder than the stock, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well it behaves in the lower RPM's.
Installed a 22xe with push rods and lifters in my 2021 RoadKing back in March of 2025. Decatted the head pipe, Tab slip ons with zombie baffles, and tuned with power vision. Did the work myself and absolutely thrilled with the results. The sound, the performance, and my fuel milage actually went up a little. Sure there's more aggressive combinations out there, but I did manage to pull the front tire off the ground 6 inches by snapping the throttle hard in low gear.
Texas Motorcycle Rider,
I too have the 22-XE cam. It was an amazing transformation. I love the higher torque and the byproduct HP. I did the lifters and push rods as well of course. Finished the work in late November 25. The weather has been so bad that I have just now gotten close enough to the 500 mile break in so the oil gets changed this weekend. I literally cannot wait for better weather; I had to really bundle up for the milage I have been able to get on it. Great video man. Your facial expressions are what I imagine I was doing after my first ride after the swap out! Ride safely.
The Black and Orange color scheme looks nice. H-D colors!
I'm surprised I don't see more of that paint scheme. Good job man, the bike sounds great.
.
My only 2 Harleys were/are Orange. If I got a new one it would have to be the CVO in Whiskey Neat but that is a 2023 1/2 year model and if you can find one new they still want $50K for it.

My back tire needs to be replaced more often now.

That sucks but weather now is turning the corner!! Enjoy.
81K on this upgrade and feeling better than ever!! I am planning a 5000 mile trip back to Colorado this August and will be taking the Glide. I imagine by then I will have over 85K on it so we may hit 90K on the journey. I just uploaded a video that shows the carbon and how a carbon remover works but you can also see the cylinder walls after 80K miles and they look pristine. Much better than I had imagined.
