Leesburg Bikefest 2010
Hello Everybody, I know I just posted a video the other day here, but I have been playing a lot wit the camcorder. I think I am getting close with having steady video. This is a little clip of Leesburg Bikefest, like I said just a little of what was happening. First video we shot in 1080. I noticed when I go to full screen it runs slow and jumpy. I think you have to go to You Tube for 1080......

No helmet cam. The camcorder that I bought is really too big but it will have to do for now. I use a canon VIXIA HV 40 and a wide angle lens. I had built a handle but realized later that it added a lot of shake. So now I have bought that sandpaper tape and have taped a lot of areas on the camera so if my hands are sweaty I can still grip the camera. a few notes 1)get a camcorder that you do not have to have the LCD viewfinder open to shoot video. 2)I use a camera strap with a modified dog lease so if I have to drop the camera it still might be alright. 3)I hate the fanny pack but it is nice to put the camera in when not videoing. 4)when pulling camera out of fanny pack first turn on then hit zoom a few times to make sure it is off then hit record then point and shoot never looking at viewfinder. Hope this helps out.
