96 flhtcui efi idle problems

Default 96 flhtcui efi idle problems
Can anyone help? For no apparent reason my idle will jump to between 2000 and 2500 rpm and will not idle down. I will park the bike and work for 12 hrs. When I return to go home, it jumps right up and will not come down for 5 to 10 minutes after being on the road. Strange thing is, this happens both while the engine is warmed up as well as when first starting but never consistantly.

mine did the same thing intake was leaking!!
