I'm working through some changes to my map, haven't actually ridden the bike yet with the current cold weather but did recently complete a cam change along with lifters and rods. No headwork or anything.
At any rate looked at trouble codes and kept getting
P0108 MAP sensor failed high/open port
Googled the code and couldn't find a ton of info other than it could sometimes be based upon weather and barometric changes.
I cleared the code and it came up again.
This was happening when starting the bike and letting it idle in sub freezing temps (engine started at 40 deg, kept getting the error when the engine hit 160 or so), but again I haven't actually ridden the bike or done anything other than idle it for a few minutes.
Is this something that I should concern myself with at this time or simply wait until I can actually ride and see if it keeps coming up, affects the ride, etc?
just go through the motions of checking that MAP sensor plugged in, throttle body clean and operating properly etc
thanks

Will do thanks mirrmu. I didn't touch the MAP that I know of when I did the cam change but will check it out. It did oil my air filter, probably too heavily so I imagine that could have dirtied up the throttle body a bit?
