I have a '07 FXDC with Screaming Eagle Supertuner, Kuryakin hypercharger kit and Khrome Werks exhaust.
After a remap, the bike has been going well for a couple of days. Yesterday the engine light come on. I checked with the SEST and got a P0108 (MAP sensor high) code.
The code has happened more frequently, and now comes on as soon as I start the engine.
To rule out a dirty air filter I did a check with the hypercharger cover down, so the filter isn't involved anymore and the engine breaths directly. Still P0108.
The engine seems to run smooth without problems.
Remapped with the original map (which was OK and no problem) but still P0108.
I'm starting to think the remap isn't involved in the problem.
Any suggestions are much welcome.
Yep, I know. Every time I checked, found it and cleared it.
It indicates the manifold pressure is excessive. Point is, when I recorded the data from the SEST, it seemed to show normal values (32-34 level at idle, with or without air filter).
Additional important question: what do I risk using the bike in this condition?
Engine seems to run as usual.
