Default 2007 FXDB error code. P1477

Hello

I got an engine light last night when i was throtteling and wanted to check error codes.. i had a code P1477

P1477 Exhaust Actuator Open/Low

Anyone knows what the problem is?

Is is any dangerous that can harm my engine?

i changed exhaust and did a bypass on the european valve thing and i got PC3 on with o2 bypasses

I downloaded a map from power commanders website that fit my bike with the exhaust and SE open air filter when i installed the PC3.. dont know if that has anything to do with it. My indy shop told me that installing a map from the website was the same a smashing my engine with a hammer..

You removed the actuator when you changed exhaust, so now you have a code. They don't use that part in US bikes, sorry. Should be as way to shunt the wires or use a resistor to fool the computer and stop the code.

The previous owner did remove it.. and he did shunt it or something..

the problem is that i dont know if this error is old..

i just noticed that the engine light came on and of a few times yesterday... is that normal?

never seen that before i think
