Have a 2012 flhx. 7K miles , vance and hines, stage 1 air, no cat, true duel and se programmer.
Seems to have developed a miss. Once in a while it starts to run rough. Hit throttle and it levels out for a bit but does it again soon. Listening to the exhaust it seems to be coming from the rear cylinder. Changed plug didnt help. Put a spark tester and when it starts to act up I see no difference in the spark. I have one on each cylinder. I wanted to test the coil but the book I got from harley for 65 bucks doesnt tell you how to test it. Does give the values however. Just not sure how to test secondary and primary coils without some direction. Even when its running good it seems to have slight miss from rear cylinder. Any direction would be appreciated.
Ewood I have a 2012 Heritage Softail that seems to have the same problem so I'll be following this thread to see what type of response you get. Thanks for posting this.
I also went stage 1 with Fp3, V&H dresser duals, and their mufflers. Having the same sort of issue on my 2015 street glide. Running extremely off, trying to run auto tune to see it if helps.
