AFR Table questions
I've got tune flashing and basic auto tuning down, and I am getting ready to step up to the Auto Tune Pro. I've read about how to dial in the VE tables and then the spark tables with the Auto Tune Pro.
I will be updating the '03... new exhaust (w/ 18mm O2 bungs), new cam. Although the cams are close, I'm pretty sure they would have a different AFR table.
I know that pro & basic dial in the VE tables, which affects the accuracy of the commanded AFR from the tables....... But unless I've missed it, I don't remember seeing anything about how/if Auto Tune Pro actually changes the AFR table?
My questions: How to I get a proper AFR table for my new cam profile? Does/can the Auto Tune Pro change the AFR table itself during the tuning process or do I need to start with a MAP for my engine/mods, before tuning it to my specific engine.
Thanks for any guidance.....

If you have access to a map for your configuration, then use it. It's the best way to tune.
You can adjust AFR's manually if you have a feel for what you're doing. It works like carb tuning. Make changes and go for a test run to verify results. I've done it and it's tedious because you have so many cells to adjust, but it can be done. I worked with blocks of cells for various ranges and the results were pretty good, but it takes a lot of test rides and lots of changes.
Fuel Moto supplies the best base maps. DynoJet is also pretty good about supplying base maps. Give them a try if you're not a Fuel Moto customer.

I got my powervision and will get my auto tune pro from Fuelmoto, just to have access to their maps....... but they admit that they don't have a lot of maps on combinations for early twin cams.....
