Hopefully someone can help me, the other morning I turned my heritage on, hit the start button and heard what sounded like arcing for about 2 seconds and then everything went dead. No power to anything. I tested my battery with a test light and it lit up, but that's as far as I could go as I need to get to work.

Sometimes if the connections have been loose they corrode and arc loudly. Best if you take both off (ground first then hot) and wire brush them until they shine, then reassemble them (hot first, then ground).
