self diagnostic test

Can you run a self diagnostic on a Freewheeler to check engine light and other codes..Like my other bikes????

yes and I put 14" apes on it now I have check engine light on..I do'nt see how to run a diagnostic code check to clear the light

The Trip - Odometer button is on the left hand control module, it's above the horn button towards back of the module and it has a little circle made of arrows on it. Have the Ign off and the Kill Switch on - press the Odometer button and turn the ignition on and you will see DIAG in the odometer window. Use the trip button to check for codes like the other bikes.
