already has been solved through PM's and my posts
Good Deal. The problem with the internet is that you only hear the bad stuff. There are some really good dealers out there and they are trained on things that Indy Shops haven't even heard about yet. The best Dyno tuner I've ever met works at a dealership. Yeah, it costs a little more but there is a lot ofoverhead involved in a Dealership. I run true duals which takes even longer to dyno tune.

I agree 100%

my local Harley Dealership is a complete rip off. I drove an extra hour out of my way to go to a better dealership. I liked everything about them. I told the tuning staff I would be installing the parts myself (sorry guys haha) and that my friend who owns a local speed shop is tuning my car on his Mustang Dyno. They said he should have no problem with the bike based on the experience I told them about.

and like I said in my earlier post, the bad part about the internet is that you can't really tell how the person is replying. But everything seems cool now, thanks guys!

Default RE: Dynotuning Question

ya gotta ask yourself does the car tuner gguys know anything about the sert? Every tuning device is different. Our dyno guy takes the better portion of a day to custom map a bike. He tunes each cylinder, tunes for max HP / torque and A/F mixture, not just at full throtle but at crusing, 20% roll ons full roll ins ect. Some go faster than others due to what mods are on the bike. Some exhausts tune better than others. After hours of tuning and a test ride or two if he dooesnt feel it is right the customer is happy and the bike is tuned right. If you change 1 thing after the tune like a cam, exhaust AC ect. it will need to be re-tuned to be perfect for what your running.
