If you want a good running bike with bolt on's an/or a mild cam the FP3 is good, I'm very happy with mine but it's only been a month or so.

the V&H preloaded tunes work well for basic changes an you don't have to pay for dyno sessions, but if you're going to go big talk to who you plan to have tune it.
Then you shouldn't get a fp3. Just get the better tuning device now because the fp3 marries to your bike so it's a paper weight when you have to upgrade.
The best advice is finding a tuner and seeing what they prefer to tune with. TTS, power vision, T-max, direct link, etc.
