Replaced speedometer and it's fine now, speed ok, odometer fine, and now self cancel turns work., they didn't with old speedo... I was able to clear code D055et on old and new speedo. But not able to clear code D025et.?.. That's one issue, after I installed this used speedometer, bike ran fine for 1 mile, then rough idle, trying to stall. No CEL.. So i replaced the coil and bike runs great, but now cel stays on.? I put back old coil just to check, and no CEL, but bike runs like crap.. Is it possible new coil was also bad? Plugs are nice and clean. New wires.

d02 Speed sensor power output shorted high or open (red wire)
If the bike runs good with one coil and not the other my suspicion the working coil is not for your bike model?
AFAIK:
There is no connection between the speedo function and run quality...other than idle as the ECM needs to know if the bike is stationary (one idle routine) or moving (another, higher rpm idle)
This is way more difficult than it should be IF the replacement coil is known to be good and the correct p/n for the application.
