Default Unknown fob code?

Just found the fob on an 2004 Road King Classic we had and we don't know the code. Can it be reset without going to the dealer?

Not unless you have a special interface tool that can do the programming for you. Sorry!

Sorry! I had forgotten that the older ones were push-button, and could be reset without going to the dealer.
I wonder if an older push-button fob could be programmed to work on a newer security system without going to the dealer or using a special tool, though?

I suspected that would be the case. Thanks.
