O2 Sensor causing excessive back pressure?

O2 Sensor causing excessive back pressure?
I was setting up a PCIII for a Friends 07 Road Glide, using the O2 eliminators, I suggested to him to remove the O2 sensors and plug.
Could the sensors in the header pipes causing back pressure, thus less exhaust flow and more heat.
What do you think?
