SERT Question?

I am considering the purchase of a SERT for my 06 FXDBI and would like to know if any other equipment is needed for install, is a laptop required? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need a computer with a serial connection to access the sert from the software.

SERT = software and the "dongle". You will also need the cable kit which provides the cables from the bike to the dongle and from the dongle to the computer/laptop. You will also need a computer, laptop is the easiest, and if the computer/laptop you are using does not have a serial port but has USB port(s) instead you will need a USB to serial adapter.
