Tacho wiring
Hi Folks.
I have an 07 Fatboy and I am putting on an aftermarket Tacho.
The dash console has an Orange/White wire which is where I am getting power for the tacho and light.
The ground is under a tank bolt which is earthed properly.
I have sourced the no 3 pin outlet from the ECM and have connected it to the signal input of tacho. This outlet was blank with no pin).
The lights work but the tacho side doesn't.
My question is does the ECM have to be programmed to have signal output?
