Let's hear it fellas. The good the bad. I would like to hear your experiences with this. Did you install yourself? Do you need to leave it (the monitor) mounted to the bike to run your tune, or can you removed the monitor once everything is dialed in. Has anyone compared their autotune to an actual dyno readout?

There is no bad, from my perspective. My dyno tuner used my PV to tune my bike. I made some later adjustments myself. I have no desire to keep it mounted on the bike; since I got everything dialed in last year, the tuner hasn't been connected since.

So once you have your tune , you CAN remove the monitor ? That's what I wanted to be sure of.

Yes, the monitor acts as a pass-through device for flashing tunes into the ECM. No need to leave it on the bike.

Yes. Once you've loaded your final tune, there is no need to leave it connected to the bike unless you want to use the monitoring functions such as cylinder head temp, and other sensor data.

Same. Got my tunes loaded and haven't connected since. I have an old FP3 I monitor sensor data via bluetooth. Was going to try an auto tune session but am pretty happy with performance.

They are a great tool to have and if you take the time to learn it, it can do many things for you. There's always a however though. In my experience it will not take the place of a talented dyno tuner that knows what he's doing. Below is my 2011, 103 that isn't stock and the tune had probably 15 autotune sessions on it. That condition is the original run blue lines. The red is what he got beyond the auto tuned tune. Just a comparison like you asked for.

Your able to add that tune to the PV correct? I'm gonna have it dynoed when I do cams. I just wanted something that would get me through stage I for now.
