missing ecm node
I replaced the fuel injector o-rings last night on my 05 FXDCI becouse thay were leaking a bit. It was not a big dealeverything went together great. I started it up to double check my work and noticed the check eng. light was on then it went off 10 to 15 sec. later.
I got my laptop out and hooked it up to the bike to find out what DTC was causing the problem (Daytona Sensors Twin ScanII) the only thing I seen was *** missing ecm node *** no codes were listed
I then checked the box clear all codes then codes cleared came up I exited the scanner and turned bike power off. restarted bike check eng lite did the same thing. I repeated everything I done before itwill not go away. I test drove bike to local HD shop to buy theElectrical Diagnostics Manual for my make and model and as usual the manual was not in stock had to order thebook I will not have it till late next week. The test drive went great bike ran just like it did before. Its kind of hard to do any Dio. when you cant get any starting point. anybody know what would be causing this? MISSING ECM NODE any help would be great.
I just got done checking and rechecking my work I see nothing every thing went together like a dream
