Hi, what is your opninion on oil vapour going into the air filter, creating carbon build up?
I just bought a bike with 3000 miles, and i want to keep combustion as clean as possible....
Should I run it outside the intake? Or dont bother?
I guess, I'm in the 0.001% group that says, if it ain't broke don't fix it. 3 of my bikes vent to atmosphere, 2 to canisters and the atmosphere, and 2 to the AC.
Keeping a little oil out of the intake will help very little, most of the carbon build up comes from the hydro-carbon you fill the gas tank with.
If you get 50 miles per gallon, you are running ~80 quarts of hydro carbon through the gas tank for every 1000 miles you ride.
You would probably have less carbon build up just by running a Top Tier gasoline with additional detergents added.
