again, you should hold your tongue until you get some experience with these products, on multiple motorcycles, BEFORE you start typing, unless you are asking questions to learn about these products and how the services are done. Jamie and all the folks at FM are great and have always been helpful to everyone that i've ever heard from.
as far as your attitude, cowboy,,,,you shouldn't speak until you know what you are talking about,,,,,Pauley want a cracker??
i try to be as helpful to people as I possibly can, but the crap that you say can lead another person down a very expensive, frustrating and potential physically harmful situation. maybe you should consider that for a minute.

It's people like you that make me question it. I'm not one of the sheep that blindly follows the herd. Just because their fans say it's the best doesn't make it so.
I'm not buying their customer service, I'm buying a tuner. And I'm buying it because like everyone else but a dealer, they won't tune with the very capable one I already have. So I want one I'm not dependent on a dyno to get it right because I'm done playing that game too.
Have a nice day

the only people that wont tune with what you have,,,anyone can run their business they way that they'd like, find someone else. I tune with what you have, but you're pretty far away. I also tune with all the other products that are out there (that actually work, ie no FP3).
do your home work and find a capable person/shop and have it done, and put an end to the nonsense.

for what it's worth, anyone that claims they can tune a bike with the TTS but they can't with the SERT, they most likely shouldn't be tuning to start with. just to clarify, i am referring to the first gen SERT, NOT the Screamneagle Pro STREET tuner.

I hope the OP re started “his own “ thread elsewhere, seeing as this got turned into a schoolyard bitchslap.
Nice to see you apologize for the high jack .too bad you didn’t feel apologetic enough to drop it or take your question to your own thread!
Sorry OP! It’s not always like this......
Btw OP if you haven’t already left the building..Ring up fuel moto with your questions or email them ,they are truly awesome to deal with and super supportive.
Let me put that another way. I'm not interested in user friendly. I have no problem tuning with my laptop. I actually prefer it. I'm not interested in customer service. Some are and that's great. I'm not interested in how it works with the dynojet dynos. That's the whole point of it. What I AM interested in is a tuner that knows best how to work with the Harley Delphi ECM and it's sensors.
From everything ive read and the professionals ive talked to, this is hands down the TTS. If you have something concrete that says otherwise, show me.
Don't insult my intelligence or think because I dont do this everyday for a living that I'm an idiot.
I am sorry OP.
to get back on track to answer your question. There is really no such thing as auto tuning, all of the products require some sort of human interaction, with tbe exception the thundermax and the PV with Target Tune. Even with these there is some set up and basic tuning knowledge required.
In my experience the PV is the most user friendly and a lot can be done witbout the use of a pc, but true auto tuning is a misnomer. You might be better off having the pro tuned, set it and forget it, unless you make upgrades later on.
I have and currently work with all of the available systems depending on what the customer desires. As previously mentioned, the TTS is the most powerful of the tuning tool products, but for a beginner there is a lot to read and understand, and understanding is key.

You can download the TTS software and read the manuals and there is a very informative learni g tutorial from HD about the SERT and sepst. Also the PV manuals are online accessible.
Actually I didn't give up on this thread, I do thank those of you that gave good positive information. I had a long informative conversation with the folks at Fuel Moto yesterday and they headed me in the direction I want to go.
FuelMoto, They are very helpful.. Just so you know I installed my PV yesterday and was able to start up my 2013 FXDBP tonight.. It was so simple "even a cave man can do it".. lol... You can't go wrong with a PV.. Just waiting for a day in the 40's to get a little auto tune time in..
