So, I have a 2018 Road King standard currently stock except for some slip ons. I am wanting to go stage 1 now, thinking Bassani 2-1, PowerVision tuner, and an air cleaner (thinking maybe Arlen Ness Big Sucker). I am thinking fairly soon after, doing the cam also.
Is there a better air cleaner option that I should look at that is a better bang for the buck?
If i get the power vision and just do the stage 1 right now, would it be much work to tune it for the cam later?
I will most likely be buying the parts as I can afford them. Is there a certain order I should install these to where I can still ride in between installing the parts?
do it all at once, big difference in performance, the SE air cleaner works wel and looks good, if you want a different look the AN or S&S is cool, use the Zippers RS468 cam, and the big deal, you'll just have to tune it once, and have a huge smile on your face. the pipe is just as important as the rest.. I would re-think the bassani, you might think about the Full Sac2-2 headpipe and Khrome Werks HP mufflers. m a fan of the D&D Fat-Cat, and the SuperTrapp SuperMeg, but dont have any personal Experience with them on the M8, but i would still think of them before the Bassani.
the pipe will have a huge impact on the final results, so choose carefully and weight out performance vs looks for your application.

Well, now you have me looking at the Billet Cat (the m8 version of the Fat Cat). I see they sell the 468 also, so i may buy it as a package deal. I don't see what the advantage of the thunder maxx is over the power vision, especially at twice the price, maybe you could enlighten me? Still not sure about which air cleaner.

S&S stealth AC, D&D Billet Cat, and the RS468 will make your ears and your senses happy. Use your PV to tune the stock ECM, no need to replace it with the T-Max.
