Carb problem 🙄

Default Carb problem 🙄
Hey guys Jamie here. Brand new here so please be patient with me lol. I have a 1999 Road King that’s carbureted. I went through the engine and put new lifters pushrods and oil pump in followed by a new Mikuni carburetor. This carb pores gas from the overflow. I adjusted the float level and didn’t change a thing. I put my old carb on to try it and the same problem. My question is could it be something I’ve done with the timing that’s causing it to dump to much fuel. The tanks been flushed and the petcock cleaned. Thanks. Jamie.

Clean the needle and seat in the carb, that is where the fuel is leaking past.

everything is clean as can be. I’ve checked the needle valve for the float and had a buddy of mine to check it and can’t find nothing. In close to loading her a trailer and taking it to Harley 🙄 lol.

Still running the stock petcock? Maybe the diaphragm is leaking?

By replacing the carb wit a known workin one, and the issue is not resolved, my bet is something else leaking.
