I was looking thru my Parts upgrade book went thru the Screaming Eagle section Ignitions .Found a few upgrades for carberated model bikes .But none for EFI like my 07 NT just cerious as to what upgrade would be available for my 07 103 Nightrain .Is it wise and or worth it to upgrade in that area .
When you state upgrade, do you mean a hardware upgrade like coil, plug wires, ignition boxetc? If so, consider this. Our 107 inch,150+ HP, 6600 RPM, 10 PSI of boosttwin camhas been runningperfect for several years, knock on wood, witha 100% stock ignition system, copper core plugs. Today's stock electronic ignition systems have more spark energyavailable then most will ever need, plus more reliability then any performance upgraded system. Don't let a bunch of marketing hypeconvince youotherwise, unless they want to pay to sponsoryou for it. If you are having ignition problems it's either a faulty component or bad tune, don't compound your problems by replacing parts that are not broke.
