Huh? Not an expert at all in the warranty arena but my guess, which is based on countless hours of exhaustive research on the subject, would be as long as you didn't actually load the tune you should be fine. Why did you buy the power vision if you weren't going to use it? Did you do some upgrades to the motor? The hd tunes for the m8 aren't really that bad...is the power vision better? Yes but if you value the warranty then just wait. Theres no playing the game of loading the power vision tune then if you need warranty work putting the stock tune back in...the digital technician will know...they know everything lol.

Kevin Baxter and Low Country Harley have been doing video lately.
Doc mentions the service tool can see the aftermarket tuner footprint, I'm wondering if a re flash back to stock still leaves fingerprints, does anyone know?
Simply put, there is a complete history of whats been done to the ECM over the life of the bike/ECM.
AND simply reloading the stock calibration WILL NOT overwrite or delete the history so when the dealer plugs your bike into the Digital Tech they will see each and every time the ECM had been reprogrammed including by an aftermarket tuner.
Hope this helps,
Bob
Fuel Moto will confirm the foot print,
...but for what it’s worth, be careful with this question with a Vance and Hines FP3. They told me you could reflash the ECM and no one would be the wiser. I don’t think that statement was the least bit accurate, and I didn’t buy the Fuel Pak 3. Went with the Powervision.
