So shortly after I bought my ‘22 Street Glide, while flashing a stage 1 download with the Harley tuner my big foot got tangled in the usb cord and disconnected in the middle of the process. The program would no longer recognize the ECM & the bike wouldn’t start. Out of frustration I switched to a Thundermax. So my question is this, can the dealer re flash my factory unit & restore it to a usable condition?
My dealership charged me 50 bucks to reflash back to stock but if you have a ton of modifications your bike will run like **** until you get an adequate tune on it. Might need to trailer it!

Yes, can be done by someone with a centurion or Dealership
Yeah, the factory unit was corrupted when the download got interrupted.
Thanks for the replies, the only reason I want it restored is because I’m thinking about going to the TTS tuner. One reason is the Thundermax doesn’t support some of the items that the factory ECU has.

The maintenance information and some other areas on the display screen are features supported by the factory ECM, without it those features are lost. Also planning to go to the TTS master tune module in the future.
Maintenance information? The diagnostic codes are all available in the Control Center as well as auto data collection and troubleshooting gathering to submit for services. What display screen? The only function the TMax doesn't have that the factory does is the MAP sensor which isn't needed since it's a wide band closed loop system instead of the factory narrow band closed loop, which is an upgrade over the stock. https://www.thunder-max.com/techdocs...Thundermax.pdf

Just my opinion but the lack of a map sensor is a fairly large drawback as it allows fueling request based on load over rpm (speed density) rather than throttle position over rpm (alpha n). Also the narrow bands are much more accurate than the broadbands.
