'99 Electra glide popping thru the throttle body
Hey all,
Here's my problem. 1999 Electra glide w/ the Magneti Marelli ECM, ugh! So, the bike started sputtering and stalled out. Ck eng. light came on. It did this all the way home (about a mile or so). I did all of the following over the course of a few days. Ck DTCs 24, 25, 42 = coil left, coil right & ecm, I replaced again after trial and error and following the diagnostic tree, not in any particular order. changed the gas, plugs, wires, coil, cam sensor timing, crank sensor, used ecm (known good, but who Knows) adjusted TPS. Ck for vacuum leak - non found. down loaded a new map tune for the power commander 3 (true dual vance and hines w/ hi flow air cleaner). I did 3 different tunes. then I disconnected the PC3 all together. I traced wires, checked voltages and ohms all in spec. I am at a loss. Oh, and get this with the "known" good used ecm it does the same thing BUT no DTCs.
