It sounds like a trouble code, you could take it in if you think something major is wrong, but at one time I got a trouble code, when I would go to start up the F.I. light comes on and I wait till it cycles then start up, but light would go out and before I would start the light comes on again, so I wait and the second light would go out! I called a TECH. I know and said I did something to trip trouble code and after 50 start ups it would stop, and he was right, bike ran great so I did not worry, but I was very glad when second start up light stopped coming on! PURPLE HAZE.

Hey thanks for the reply.
I was wondering if I reset the computer, disconnect the battery for a few minutes, the reconected if the code would go away? I know that sometimes a CPU reset in the automotive world would correct such issues.
