I downloaded the iOS app today, but the app would not pair with my bike (screenshot attached). App indicates that BCI is paired to a different motorcycle?
I got things to work this morning by reseting the SEPST using the directions in the Mobile Tuner User Manual:
3.Unpairing:
To unpair the motorcycle, if receiving the message “paired to another mobile device,” follow these instructions: Turn the ignition off for 30 seconds. Turn the ignition on with the engine off, then quickly turn the twist grip to 100% and back to 0% repeatedly until the LED performs a series of quick flashes. After that, the LED will begin to flash at 1 second intervals indicating the BCI is waiting to be paired.
I tried again today, the programer was blinking every second, which is looking for blue tooth. I’ll try what you did triplespeed, but it’ll have to wait for a week.
Thanks @triplespeed, I finaly managed to get the App working following your recommendations. I got it working, and warmed up the bike and went on a ride. When I opened the App, after restarting the bike, it crashed. It kept crashing when tapping the NEXT button, finally started working after several attempts. Then would crash again after restarting the bike. I bet there will be an update soon for this issue, it gives the option to report the crashing.
Recommend confirming that your Bluetooth Communications Interface (BCI) firmware on the bike has been updated to (1.18.0.6). The P&A Bulletin PAB1171 (Rev A) from 2025-09-12 indicates that BCI 1.18.0.6 is needed to resolve instability in the SEPST app, and that you must perform the BCI firmware update with the PC app -- not the iOS app. Hope this helps!

hm. glad i found this. is there truly any reason to try doing all this stuff via bluetooth? because this all sounds like a huge pain in the nuts. i'm fine with spending the money on some cable (though we shouldn't have to) that some of you have mentioned so that i can plug in a laptop and just avoid alllllllllll this bullshit.
so, before i do that.. are there any features/etc that the mobile version has which i couldn't do with a laptop? some practical reason why the mobile based offers something, some checkbox that i cant checkmark with a laptop+cable?
and pardon the dumb question, but the various SE tuner products are at least considered better than the dynojet? this entire forum seems kinda 'meh' on the dynojet stuff.

Most devices are bluetooth now as no one is making the cables. The Dynojet stuff is probably more capable than the SE but the TTS is still the top dog. The software does more of the work for you than any other. One of the lowest costs to boot, free updates and don't have to buy extra tokens.
