Sleeps, to further make your pointI don't havealap top, I just grabbed my box, flat screen and keyboard and set them up on a card table; took maybe 10 minutes, not even an issue.
Andthe first time I got to watchthe parameters with the engine runningon the computer screen was absolutely amazing; thatalone was worth the price of admission!!!! I like thefreedom that we can set/change anything we want.
Oh BTW, I pulledthe spark plugs after 300 miles and they had gone from pure white to a perfect light gray.

the thundermax is not a magic box that eliminates issues with our scoots. Its a tool that allows us to do what harley doesn't whant you to do.Again i reedit ,"fuel management is a personal choice".Having the ecm open for changes is a fantastic choice for people like me who doesn't trust the stealer with my ride.Zipper gives you the bassics for a strong running engine,is up to us to either leave it alone and ride or try to squeeze every droop out of the tank.We spend 20k or more on two wheels but cry about an extra 20 bucks on a sunday ride.I recall the first ride on my new street glide and how much i hated the furnace under my seat. Now the bike runs great and normal temp's.So imagine going back to that just becouse we are getting 6 miles less a gallon.NOT

My bike does run cooler than when it was bone stock.
I don't know how. The TVII sets the AFR at cruise to 14.7, same as stock.
I've read far too many threads on the heat problem to accept that a Tmax or anything else is the cure for the problem. The more honest owners still report their engines running hotter than previous years even after doing ECU changes, air kits, and exhaust. It helps a little, but to even suggest that your going to have ice cubes coming out of your exhaust is not going to happen at this point.
Go read some of the extensive heat posts and there is no definitive cure to date. Its the nature of the Beast to run hot.
My oil temps were 260 before the tmax, 245 after. That's in our 110 degree summers. That's pretty definitive to me.
Q: What Air Fuel Ratio are we trying to achieve?
A: After years of Dyno Testing, Terry Components has calibrated our module at a 14.7 at cruise mode and 13.5 under load.
