SO I've let my bike sit for a long time and finally got Thundermax
INSTALLED on my streetbob.
First I'd like to say that If your not mechanical I don't think you should do it.
I had help from a friend and it wasn't that easy.
I think they should sell 2 more things for the dyna: 1) Pre-Cut Electical box
2) Extention cable to run the front O2 sensor on the left side of bike under the frame. (Ok my complaining over)
Question
Do I need to do more ? (I'm gonna re-read the instructions too)
here is what I have done:
1) Installed all the thundermax stuff
2) Loaded my Map (that zippers told me to load) and wrote it
3) Initialized bike (on/off 3 times)
4) Ran bike 2 times for 10 seconds at idle
Then I took off and put a couple miles on the bike.
Did I need to do anything else? The Engine temp thing ?
If so Do I just continue where I left off ?
What's left (so I don't have to read...lol)

Yes, #5 you need to run the motor up to 289 degrees and then turn it off. Watch the temps on your laptop with the correct gauges showing.
But overall I suggest you [sm=icon_rtfm.gif][sm=boink3.gif][sm=icon_beat.gif]
Since you rode the bike before the IAC stops were properly set, IMO it'd be a good idea to clear the IAC offsets before you let it relearn the stops by idling to 289*. Do not touch the throttle during this process.

Did you upload the closed loop configuration to the ECM? While Linked to the ECM click "configure", "closed loop module settings", check the two boxes at the top of table and write to the module. While hooked up to the ECM monitor the airfuel ratio of the front and rear cylinder to see if it is moving toward the targeted AFR.
Sure wouldn't hurt to check that ajayrk, but the module should've already recognized presence of the 02 sensors & prompted the userto go to closed loop operation. It wouldn't hurt to double check allthe Basic Settings either...
