Start switch wiring
I just started tearing my bike down for winter work and need a bit of help in the electrical dept. I am installing a set of pm contour hand controls and eliminating all of the switches on the bars. I fab-ed up a nice motor mount with two spots for switches in the mount. I am going to wire a toggle switch for the on/off and a toggle style w/ rebound switch for the start. Has anyone had any experience with the wiring need to do this? Any advice is appreciated.

You should be able to intecept the wiring directly from the right side hand controls. You can get the wires directly off the connetor for the right hand controls.
I would reccommend you get the Service Manual for your bike and study the wiring diagram in the back.
Sounds like a pretty easy thing to set up.
