Default TMAX VS DTT

Has anyone switched from a DTT to the TMAX controller? If so what has your experience been. I've had my DTT for about a year now and have continual CKP sensors errors and the like. It seems to work well overall but needs constant attention especially when the weather starts to heat up. I'm considering moving to the TMAX but don't want to trade one problem for another. Feedback would be appreciated. Thanks

You now the user interface/constant interventionis why I never bought into the DTT.

At first the sensors were a temporary installation intended just for data colletion and then you edited the map and did it again and again. I didn't want to go through all that on my own bikes and forget about installing it for a client.

You won't have that constant user interaction with ThunderMax.

Only difference I gather is that the DTT you need to apply BLM's and the T-max it does it on it's own after a ride. Personaly I preffer to adjust the ALPHA N tables myself. I haven't used a T-max so I know only what I have read and that could be faulty. I do run a DTT TCFI IID and I haven't had the constant interventions.

Original poster,

Thecrank positioncode happens when? When first dialing mine in I would get it. Usually happened at start up and I adjusted my 2D engine temp start uppercentagesin open loop. Also had some happen at just off idle so adjusted the assynch percentage and the alpha N in that area to keep the Assynch addition low. I am sure you can tune it out so doesn't happen.
