One of the other members found this link to download SERT V477. It is in a zip file and is 53MB so you need a high speed connection. I downloaded it and it works fine. (just remapped my bike with it this morning)
If you want to intall this you need to save all your custom maps to another file and uninstall your existing SERT programs and manuals. NOTEKeep in mind any custom maps you use from a previous version will have to be cut and pasted into V477 before you can tune with them.
Download this zip file to your desktop. Uninstall your current SERT programs using add/remove programs. The create a file called "Screaming Eagle Tools" inside your C drive program files folder. (if the old one is still there be sure to delete all the contents before you use it). Using winzip or another extraction utility open the downloaded zip file on your desktop. Select ALL the files in the V477 zip folder and extract to the Screaming Eagle Tools folder you made earlier. Then close the winzip and go to the Screaming Eagle Tools folder and look for the purple LAUNCH icon. Double click on it and the installer will take over.
Have fun!!
OH BTW, I have the older E version cable/dongle and it works fine. V477 will load on windows 2000 and XP with no issues.
Hi!, I also need SERT v4.77 I just bought the interface and cables and the CD is missing, and here in Spain we can´t buy the cd because its not for sale.
Google post big files. Lots of free options. If both people have AOL IM account, you can send them that way. When I was doing work with the Megasquirt programmers we did it that way all the time. You kids may have an AOL account.
