Harley Amplifier Problems
I have an 06' Electra Glide Classic that I have added rear speakers to. All worked fine until I added the Harman Kardon amplifier kit. Front speakers work but don't appear to be amplified and the rears don't work at all now. I can plug the original harness back into the rear speakers and they work fine. Has anyone else had this problem. I have checked and double checked all connections. It should be a simple plug and play.

Search theforms a bit. I think I read somewhere that you had to somehow configure the deck between 2 speakers and 4. It wasn't just a simple plug and play set up. It's here or the other form I read about it. If all else fails, call the dealership.

Problem solved, I had to send it the the dealer to have this done. The directions don't tell you that you need to have the radio configured to four speaks in order to get the amp to work. I'm sure it's a plug and play for the Ultras but not the models that come with two speakers. With this, it also added the fader option on the radio.
