Default PC3 /V&H help needed please

Hi Guys,
If anybody can help it would be greatly appreciated....
Let me start by saying the bike in question is an 08 Fatbob, international model,(UK), if that makes a difference.

I plan to use a PC3 and V&H big radius, now V&H have told me that I have to add a TC adapter kit to deal with the two valves on the stock pipes.........yet dynojet are telling me that I neeed to purchase airbox and exhaust bypass valve which I assume do the same job......anybody got an answer ??

Also, is there a way to deal with the noise control unit on the stock exhaust, I assume thyis is not needed when I fit the new pipes so do I simply cut it off??

Cheers Guys

Hi Royston, i,m UK (Cornwall) as well.
The PC3 should come (mine did from Fuel Moto) with two electrical plugs to blankoff the wires to the O2 sensors as they are not needed with the PC3.
As you are removing the stock exhaust system you will be removing the exhaust valve. Its easy a cable runs from the pipe to a solenoid behind the rear cylinder where you unhook the cable. As the valve is disabled you need to disarm the electrics that run the solenoid by unplugging the lead to it and blanking it off with a plug. This stops fault codes coming up on your instruments. You can buy them from various places such as VTWIN MANIA in Scotland.
If you are removing the air filter back plate with something like a Big Sucker there is another electrical plug in behind the backplate that will need capping off to prevent similar codes coming up.
All the best.

Hi,
Thanks for the advice which I just noticed while reading thru previous posts.
I have read the ins and outs of a D's A**e on this subject and finally begun to understand.
It seems if you buy the PC=3 over here you also get the blockers etc but pay the UK price for the kit which is probably the way I will go as I have had a pretty good price from a guy, simon at carbon can co. The thing is I still have yet to manage to locate are the plugs for the bungs where the 02 sensors are located once these are removed so I may have to "import" these from the states, Im swappng to V&H bigshots btw.

I have been teasing the brain for over a week on the benefit of a PC3 against a V&H F/pak and frankly other than the greater tuning capability which I may not use the real gain is removing the sensors and their cables which Ifor meis an aesthetics thing.
I read somewhere in here I think that implied that the PC3 was an out of date system and modern methods of controling FI motors is to use 02 sensors which adds another dimension to the confusion.....
