Don't know anything about tuning but my 95ci pinged anytime I rolled the throttle around 60 mph. Notop end power or torque.
I took it in to HD service. They put in a new "download" and pipes that would let it breathe (V&H ovals). It is now a completely different engine. No pinging at any speed or any load. It is a monster.
HD said it was mostly the download and a little about the pipes.
