Default Big Mistake

I just placed an order with Eastern Performance to upgrade my '07 UC which is still stock with the following:

V&H True Duals
V&H Ovals
Arlen Ness Big Sucker Stage 1
PCIII

After reading all the negative posts on the PCIII, I have a bad feeling on the decision to change my mind from the FuelPak to the PCIII. I let the rep talk me into it...CRAP!

Anybody have any good news? Should I be concerned? If so, anybody in Austin, TX running this config AND not having any problems?
I was having a nice vision of being out there and having my UC sound as good, if not better than my '01 RKC this Memorial Day w/e...
DOH!!!

Thanks,
Irish64

dont worry, the PCIII is brilliant. I have short shots, big sucker and the PCIII with a map from fuel moto and its perfect. PLugged right in and runs great, really very quick indeed and no flat spots, popping, hessitation etc etc. Fuel pack is a basic setup, PCII will take you beyond stage one should you want to and also is fully tuneable with your laptop...

you have made the right choice[8D]

Alright, feeling better after getting some sleep and getting into the wind for a while today.

Huge THANKS to those that responded. I am feeling a bit more optimistic after reading your input and doing some more research. The PCIII has the USB so it should be helpful with the software that comes with it.

Getting excited again. Time to head down to 6th street for a pint.

Much better choice than the fuel pack.

You'll be just fine with the choice you made.
Enjoy your mods!

You'll be turning heads at ROT with that loud setup.

I've had no issues with the PC3. If anything i'd say the only disadvantage is that it's tweak-ability lends itself toward pulling the seat off more often than not just to jack with the low RPM / Idle fuel settings.

My PCIII ran a little rich with the canned map, but after getting it dyno'd the bike runs great. The only "issue" I have, and I've read about others having it too, is that if you turn on the bike and let the check engine light go off before hitting the start button the starter cranks 2-3 seconds before the engine fires. If I hit the starter before the light goes off, bam! instant start...
