ok... hit me below the belt.... what should I be getting?
In reality you most likely are getting what the map gives you. I don't give a rat's in the city, but highway 42-45 is easy to get. If you get the afrs into the 14.2 range for cruising rpms even more is possible. If you are happy with it as is don't sweat it. Many have the same milage you have, and I just jumped on your comment out of fun

Actually I don't have any of the problems you are talking about with my TMAX on my 2007 Ultra but then again I did quite a bit more when I installed it the 1st time.
Maybe some of these might help you.
After removing the ECM fuse, unclick the main ECM connector and with a very bright light, make sure there are no depressed or missing pins, if not then 'firmly' snap that plug back into the ECM. The emphasis is firm, not at 'caveman' strength levels.
Try to wiggle the connector when done, and if it does not move, that part is done.
Now the data connector that was doing nothing before the TMAX was added sits in a very loose connector so I 'tie wrapped' it together with the TMAX connector and tie wrapped it to that cheap holder.
To the best of my memory, that connector is the one that 'talks' with all the other devices. speedo, tach, speed sensor, etc. so I am guaranteeing that it will ALWAYS be a tight connection.
Reinstall that ECM fuse, do the ECM initialize routine, then go ride your butt off.
I also used more tie (they give you a couple, I used maybe 30 more) wraps on all the wiring that I installed when I originally installed this unit. NO wiring or connectors are 'flapping' in the breeze of can get loose when I hit a bump.
About 1 year since my first and only need to recycle the ignition. No problems to speak of.

I haven't had anymore problems with this issue in a year either, untill.....It happened twice last week on the way to the dealer. Once on the way there and once on the way back. Both times I pulled over turned off the key turned back on and everything was fine. The bike still seemed to run fime but with no speedo.

you may need to update the firmware. you can save the map and update the firmware and then reload the map
