hi all i have a 2006 street bob i have vance and hines big radius pipes stock air filter and i download.today ive installed the tfi/dfo and i used the factory settings at 4.well i retrieved dtc p0151 and have popping when i decelerate please help.any suggestions will be very helpful any adjustment help as well...................update..................... ..hey guys i called dobeck about this matter and they said the manufacturer who made the unit for 2006 models wired the o2 backwards so in turn throwing these codes out at you.they will be sending me a new tfi today so if you have this same problem call dobeck.just a heads up.
ok guys ive seemed to have found the problem, the code is low voltage at one of the o2 sensors.so i checked my connections and found on of the wires from the tfi pulled out of the connector.reassembled the bike cleared the code and tomorrow i will road test it and see what happens.i do still need some settings for the tfi for 06 dyna with stock air filter,hd-download and vance and hines big radius.
A P0131 (front) or P0151 (rear) is set when the ECM detects an excessively lean condition for a specified length of time. Codes may also set if oxygen sensor fails.
hey man.i have a download done at hd awhile back i posted the part number but no one could find it.the reciept also said stage1.i had slip ons at the time.now ive found the problem with the codes it was a problem with conector pin for the o2 sensor under the seat and the other sensor wasnt plugged in all the way.now im still having problems findding the right tune.my settings are 3.5 green 3.5 yellow 4 red 4 red/blue.i have popping on deceleration.any ideas.
It rather difficult to give an opinion that would benefit you without much info or info given in a manner that is not understandable. Any information that is obtained with minimal input would be a guess at best. A guess for the most part is not considered the best way of obtaining a fix for a particular problem and not reliable either IMO. If there was a download with a part number associated with it, it is obtainable, however the HD company does not give out the specs in the downloads so the part number would only be useful to assure you that the correct download was used and nothing more. I did not see your original post with the part number in it and if you expect any returns on this information, it would be best served to repost it once again. Your statement was difficult to understand in regards to the download. What I was trying to find out is IF it was done.
Also a stage one is not a stock air filter as you posted above.
Was the download #34239-06 which would be the correct one for your bike?
ok dude, the part number on the invoice says 3249805A upload stage 1.also i didnt have a stage 1 air cleaner just stock and at that time i had se2 slip ons ran good minamal popping and decel.ok now,i have the vance and hines big radius pipes, stock air cleaner and filter.tfi from dobeck performance.now, while riding it pops really well on deceleration and occassionaly when just reving up in neutral.also, when set at preset 4,4,4,4 the check engine light comes on with a code.today retrieved code 0131 and the other day got 0151 which may be due to a connector not being plugged in all the way.now,im trying to find out what settings are for the deceleration popping.the current settings are 3.5 3.5 4 4 still pops on deceleration.i hope you understand this im trying to break this down.btw im not looking for power just want to keep the bike away from lean.soon im getting the thunder monster baffles and a kn filter(stock replacement)and thats all the performance mods i will be doing.your help and thought are greatly appreciated.
