Popping

I have a 07 softail and I put on V&H long shots, AC, sert and had it dyno. I now have a popping in deceleration but over time it has not gotten worse.

Is there a chance that is jump timing? Any thoughts?

Most likley you hav had a small exhuast leak form the beging and it is gatting worse with time. Check your clamps and gaskets. The rear cylinder exhuast gasket did this to me.

its easiest to check for this leak when you first start the bike cold. have your hand around the joints (not literally, 1/4"-1/2" away) for inspections before it gets too hot to handle.

When you installed the V&H pipes did you replace the exhaust gaskets or re-use the old ones?

If you don't find any exhaust leaks and you have a copy of your Race Tuner map, try taking out some decel enleanment. I had to decrement mine about 0.20 to get rid of all the popping at warmed up temps.

My bike started popping bad and then started missing at 8500 miles, found my spark plugs were fouled I think fuel additives.I installed new plugs and all better now.
