battery tender while battery connected

Default battery tender while battery connected
hi, just bought the battery tender plus (12v 1.5 amps)...have a 2007 night train with security module...does anyone know if the battery tender can be used while having the battery connected on the bike?

thanks for the quick reply!...i'm just afraid that charging the battery while connected could damage electrical parts...thanks again

hooked up and left on bike for both years I had it...perfect.
