RoadGlide Problem
Having a problem with my 00 SERG, and hoping some1 here can help me out. Started out with a loose ground connection at the battery, however not loose enough to really notice, and when I put the charger on it, sparks flew from the neg post. After i tightened the cable up, the bike started fine , however I now have no lights. Figured it was just a fuse, from when it sparked up, and sure enough the fuse was gone. After replacing it, turned on the ignition and the fuse blew again immediately.
Thinking maybe I had a short in 1 of the bulbs or something I started checking, could find nothing so I started eliminating lights. Unplugged power to all rear lites and pulled the fairing off and disconnected headlites. Also popped bulbs outta front signal lites. Tried a new fuse and same thing, blew rite away. Now I'm at a stand still, not sure where to look next. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thx in advance...Redd
