After about 200km out on a ride into the boondocks, I noticed that the headers were giving off a HUGE amount of heat. I stopped and took a look and found that the wire connecting the rear o2 sensor on my thundermax had fallen loose, rubbed on the belt, and bared some wires. I had some tape on me, so I did my best to tape up the wires and I headed back home. When I got back, the heat from the rear headpipe on my 2 into 1 had started to turn even the heat-shields yellowish. The o2 sensor has turned completely dark grey, and now the bike farts, hisses and coughs a few times before I can start it up.
There's nobody here in Taiwan that can deal with this issue, so any advice is greatly needed and appreciated. Somebody please tell me that I fried the sensor and it simply needs to be replaced...? ARRGGGHHH
