2000 FXST fuel problem (carbed)
Pulled my bike out of storage tonight (finally). Changed oil and filter. When I started it, it immediately filed the plugs. Cleaned plugs and reinstalled. turned fuel off and refired it. Bike ran smooth until turning the gas back on. Immediately shuts off and plugs filed again. Put another set of plugs in and refired. With the gas off, bike idled smooth for 10 minutes. Upon turning the gas back on, it shut off again and filed those plugs. Gas was actually running out of the side of my air cleaner. Anybody got any ideas? I thought maybe stuck float or something but wouldn't mess with it until I could get some advice from you guys. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
