2007 Softail Heritage: While riding the power and sound of the bike changes.
The bike becomes very responsive with good tone from the pipes and runs like a scaled ape, then the bike becomes unresponsive and the pipes sound like a lawn mower. Will run great for several hundred miles then kick into poor mode for several hundred miles then back again to running great? Pulled off the power commander and sent it back, ran for 400 miles with poor response then it kicked in to scaled ape mode for the next 300 miles.
Mileage stays the same. O2 eliminators are at 1 Meg and 4 Meg.
Any ideas??
O2 Eliminators and Just ECM? Put your O2 sensors back in and stock ECM, see if that helps. Pretty tough for your O2 sensors to 'auto tune' your bike if ya don't have them in their.?
AFR too high with the 02 sensors in, dropped 40 deg with just the eliminators in and operates great with 48 miles to the gallon with the power commander. Very responsive with the power comander and the lower AFR. Running now, no PC3 with elminators.
Not very resposive and sounds like a lawn mower most of the time.
